Themes and Details: Connections

A challenge all the students faced was the difficulty of access to the area. They saw a need to improve connections between Broadway Park and Riverside Park, between the riverfront and the Lower Town neighborhoods, and between downtown and Kerrytown to Lower Town. Most included a pedestrian bridge connecting Broadway Park to Riverside Park and some added a pedestrian bridge over the railroad tracks, linking the Park to the foot of State Street.
