Civil Participation in Filmmaking

Regev Nathanson is a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology whose project is located in Haifa, Israel, where he has developed a partnership with the Massada Film Collective. Together they will engage in an in-depth and reflexive process of film production for the benefit of the local community. By exploring the local challenges and opportunities of living in a mixed Arab-Jewish neighborhood, the group will uncover the kinds of social relations and citizenry that emerge in this multicultural environment.
